Chester Springs, PA, September 13, 2022 – SAFR Sports, a safety innovation company, is proud to announce a sponsorship agreement with North Carolina State’s junior running back Jordan Houston. Houston, the projected starter on a highly talented offensive side, is looking forward to a successful season with the Wolfpack, currently ranked 16th in the country.
“I’m happy to partner with SAFR,” said Houston. “Since my freshman year at N.C. State, wearing my SAFR Helmet Cover gives me the confidence to know I’m protecting my brain on the field, and for my future.”
The agreement with Houston includes digital and social promotion of SAFR Helmet Covers, which fits over existing helmets and is proven to reduce force impact by as much as 72%. N.C. State’s football team has been wearing the SAFR Helmet Cover since 2018.
“We are thrilled to partner with Jordan – he’s an outstanding player who has emerged as a team leader – more importantly, he’s protecting his brain and his future with our product. And as a college football running back, he is the perfect spokesperson for our mission to make football and all contact sports safer,” according to SAFR’s President & CEO John Zeglinski.
